Terms and Conditions:

• Any use of the company name, images or logos must have the prior written consent of EVENT.
• EVENT may subject eGift Cards to verification and security checks in its absolute discretion.
• EVENT reserves the right to cancel any eGift Card, or the eGift Card scheme, for any reason at any time without notice. In these circumstances EVENT may either provide a refund or a replacement of equivalent value unless it reasonably suspects fraud in relation to a eGift Card.
• Valid for use in New Zealand only.
• Your eGift Card status (including expiry date) can be viewed online: eventcinemas.co.nz/giftcard/balance.
• EVENT reserve the right to change any terms contained in these Terms & Conditions at any time.

To Redeem Your eGift Card 

• Use the barcode (beginning with ‘60001’) to redeem online during checkout at eventcinemas.co.nz or present this eGift Card (either printed or on-screen) at the cinema.
• This eGift Card will expire on the date indicated or until a $0 balance is reached, whichever occurs first.
• Only valid for use at EVENT, The Embassy or Rialto (Auckland & Dunedin) Cinemas & online.
• eGift Cards can be used for admission, or food & beverage items available from the cinema, or online at eventcinemas.co.nz.
• Booking fees apply for online cinema bookings.
• Do not share or disclose the barcode or PIN details to ensure your eGift Card remains secure. Strictly no replace or refund lost or stolen eGift Cards.
• No refunds, other than those required by law, will be given after the date of purchase.
• eGift Cards cannot be reloaded with any additional dollar value & the validity date cannot be extended.
• Any balance remaining on the eGift Card after expiry date will not be available for use or change.
• If your purchase is more than the current credit amount available on your eGift Card, you can make up the full amount with another type of tender accepted in EVENT cinemas.
• eGift Cards & any amount standing in credit on the eGift Card cannot be redeemed wholly or partially for cash & no cash advances can be made at any time, regardless of whether there have been one or more transactions on the eGift Card.
• The balances of several eGift Cards cannot be consolidated onto a new card.
• eGift Cards cannot be used for any Voucher, Gift Card or merchandise purchase through giftshop.eventcinemas.co.nz, eventcinemas.co.nz, mycorporate.eventcinemas.co.nz or  at cinema box offices.
• Event Gift Shop assumes no responsibility where incorrect recipient and/or delivery information is provided during the checkout process.
• eGift Cards will be void and will not be redeemable if they are defaced, mutilated, altered or tampered with in any way, or if the eGift Card barcode is illegible.
• This eGift Card cannot be sold or exchanged without the prior written permission of the EVENT Cinemas LTD (EVENT).
